1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Mystic Journey: Sacred Paths. By downloading, installing, or using the Mystic Journey: Sacred Paths mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "user") and the developer of this App ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Mystic Journey: Sacred Paths is a mobile application designed to help users:

• Maintain a dream journal
• Practice lucid dreaming techniques
• Track reality checks
• Access guided practices and educational content
• Optionally use AI-powered dream analysis (premium feature)

The App stores all your personal data locally on your device. We do not collect or store your personal information on our servers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal device(s)
• Use the App for your personal, non-commercial use

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or distribute the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems

5. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, images, audio files, and software) are owned by he developer and are protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use the App's name, logo, or other identifying features for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create in the App (dream journal entries, notes, etc.). We do not claim any ownership of your content.

6.2 Local Storage

All your content is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to, store, or backup your content on our servers.

6.3 AI Analysis (Optional)

If you choose to use AI-powered analysis features:

• You grant us a temporary license to process the specific content you submit for analysis
• This content is sent to our AI service provider (DeepSeek) for processing
• The content is not retained after processing
• You acknowledge that AI analysis may not be perfect and is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only

6.4 Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of sharing it with AI services. You represent that:

• You have the right to submit your content
• Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Your content does not contain harmful, offensive, or illegal material

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Premium Features

Certain features of the App require a paid subscription ("Premium Features"), including:

• AI-powered dream analysis
• Advanced practices and content
• Monthly dream reports
• Additional features as we develop them

7.2 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans (e.g., monthly, annual) with pricing displayed in the App and in your device's app store.

7.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) through their respective app stores. Your payment information is handled by them, not by us. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat.

7.4 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged through your app store account.

7.5 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

7.6 Free Trial

We may offer free trial periods. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the subscription. Trial eligibility is determined by the app stores.

7.7 Refunds

Refund policies are governed by Apple and Google's app store policies. We do not directly process refunds. Contact the app store for refund requests.

8. AI-Powered Features

8.1 Optional Service

AI analysis features are entirely optional. You can use the App without ever using AI features.

8.2 No Guarantees

AI-generated content is provided for entertainment, self-reflection, and educational purposes only. We make no guarantees about:

• Accuracy or reliability of AI analysis
• Therapeutic or psychological benefit
• Interpretation quality or relevance

8.3 Not Professional Advice

AI analysis is not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice. If you have mental health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

8.4 Third-Party AI Service

AI features are powered by DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider. We are not responsible for:

• Errors or omissions in AI-generated content
• Availability or performance of the AI service
• Changes to AI service capabilities

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your requirements
• The App will be available at all times
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free from viruses or harmful components
• AI analysis will be accurate or beneficial

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL
• SERVICE INTERRUPTION OR UNAVAILABILITY
• DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI-GENERATED CONTENT

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

11.1 Not Medical Advice

The App is designed for entertainment, self-exploration, and educational purposes. It is not intended to:

• Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition
• Provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice

11.2 Dream Practices

11.3 Emergency Situations

If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, contact emergency services (911 in the US) or a crisis helpline immediately. The App is not designed for crisis intervention.

12. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information.

13. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time
• Add or remove features
• Change how features work
• Impose usage limits

We'll provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical, but we're not obligated to do so.

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any subscriptions.

14.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Required by law
• We discontinue the App

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App ends immediately
• You must stop using the App and may uninstall it
• Subscription charges (if any) continue until you cancel through the app store
• Provisions that should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability) remain in effect

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.
